They are currently cooking with gas, but which of Celtic’s stars could leave the club in January?

Brendan Rodgers’ team has won all but one Premiership game this season, a 2-2 draw with second-placed Aberdeen. They are through to the Premier Sports Cup final, where they will face Rangers, and have a healthy seven points from four Champions League games.

With that comes interest, and stars may not get the minutes they need, given the form of those in front of them. So who are the five people who could be on their way out?

Nicolas Kuhn

Probably going to be the most talked about Celtic player in January. With Premier League clubs interested, he is on fire with 21 goals and assists so far this season. A large bid could give Celtic something to think about.

Alex Valle

There has been talk of a loan recall for the Barcelona loanee. With Greg Taylor out of contract in the summer and no new deal in place, keeping Valle on the roster will be a priority in January. They’ll hope that’s not beyond their control.

Luis Palma

This season, he’s evolved into more of a squad player. Although he has no league goals or assists this season, his double against Mexico demonstrates his talent. He could be another person looking for extended minutes somewhere else.

Currently suffering from a calf injury. Still only 21 and 22 in January, a loan spell with a Premiership  rival could be beneficial for the Norwegian. Kwon has grown in stature during spells at St Mirren and Hibs; could he be the next to benefit from the loan route?
