The Browns’ final injury report before Week 14, Cooper In, Jones Out

The Cleveland Browns finalised their injury report prior to their Week 14 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Cleveland Browns released their final injury report prior to their Week 14 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Amari Cooper, a wide receiver, is Cleveland’s star player. Cooper was placed in concussion protocol following a head injury he sustained while out in Los Angeles, and his status for this week’s game against Jacksonville was listed as questionable.

Cooper completed the concussion protocol on Saturday and is cleared to play on Sunday.

Unexpectedly, Dawand Jones, a rookie right tackle, is listed as doubtful for this game. Jones will miss this game because, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski, he tweaked his knee during practice this week. To overcome his injury, this will prove to be another test for the Cleveland team and coaching staff.

Regarding roster updates, Joe Flacco was formally added to the active roster by the Browns on Sunday after being activated from the practice squad.

Cam Mitchell, a cornerback, has also been activated this week. Mitchell suffered a hamstring injury on November 7th and has been out of action for the last four weeks.

The Browns formally waived quarterback PJ Walker from their roster to create space for Mitchell. Walker is going to be cut from the Cleveland Browns roster.

The news that Amari Cooper has cleared the concussion protocol is extremely important for this offence because the Jaguars defence is weak when it comes to the passing game. To find some balance on Sunday, the Browns’ offensive attack needs their top receiver.

Ninety minutes before Sunday’s kickoff, we will receive one more injury report, and then the teams will be officially set to battle at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
