After a two-year wait, the club president has confirmed Nottingham Forest’s transfer.
Nottingham Forest’s Hwang Ui-jo’s transfer to Alanyaspor has been confirmed, according to NottinghamshireLive.
Alanyaspor president Hasan Çavuşoğlu announced the addition of centre forward Ui-Jo Hwang from Nottingham Forest to their squad. He is also one of the team captains for the South Korean national team.
“We believe it will be beneficial for our club. Our scouting team was following him. His transfer was not possible two years ago because the costs were prohibitively expensive for our club. “I had the opportunity to loan him out for the second half of the league this season.”
Ui-jo stated, “I’d like to thank everyone, starting with our president, for their interest in me. Everyone greeted me warmly from the moment I arrived.
“Of course, I will do my best on the pitch, in practice, during the game, and everywhere else to contribute to the team.” I’m excited to join the team as soon as possible.
Ui-jo has yet to play a competitive game for Forest since joining from Bordeaux in August 2022, having previously been loaned out to Olympiacos, FC Seoul, and Norwich City. He was supposed to spend the entire season with Norwich, but his loan was cut short in January.
