“Great disparity” Adam Idah discusses his biggest surprise about being a Celtic player.
Adam Idah, the star player for Celtic, has opened up about what it’s really like to play for the team, and it’s safe to say that he has had a shock to his system.
The fans view the Republic of Ireland international as a hero after he scored two goals against Hibs earlier in the season and another two goals in today’s 3-1 victory over Motherwell.
For me, that’s the main distinction, which makes sense. There is a learning curve. “It’s great to have that winning mentality, and the guys who have been here for a while know the score.” The herald.
Celtics fans are beginning to warm up to Adam Idah.
Despite his heroics with the penalty against Hibs, I don’t think it’s too far-fetched to suggest that the on-loan Norwich player was still under suspicion.
Idah still had a lot of work to do to win over the Hoops supporters, as he hadn’t scored in his previous two games and had missed a clear opportunity in yesterday’s draw against Kilmarnock.
I believe he has accomplished that with his performance at Fir Park today. If Idah wasn’t aware before today of the significance of playing for Celtic and the expectations of the team, he certainly is now.Idah’s next game is a trip to Tynecastle on Sunday, where he will almost certainly start. And as all Celtic supporters are aware, a matchup against Hearts can be intense, something Idah is sure to enjoy.
