Rangers’ midweek match against Dundee has been postponed yet again, giving Celtic the opportunity to move four points ahead of their bitter rivals in Glasgow on Saturday.

This weekend, Brendan Rodgers’ team will start first, and as the post-split frenzy approaches, the title chase will only get hotter.

Celtic has six games left in this season, two of which are away and four of which are at home.

Therefore, the packed-out crowd at Celtic Park is expected to get fully behind the players as they try to make home advantage pay against fellow top-six team St Mirren after they drew 3-3 at Ibrox the previous time out.

Although Stephen Robinson’s team made it into the top six last weekend, they are now five points behind Kilmarnock, who are in fourth place and will play in Europe this summer.

All the information you require regarding this one is provided here.

When he addresses the media on Friday, Rodgers will give a thorough injury update.

On social media, it did surface that Callum McGregor did not participate in the entire training session on Thursday; however, this might have been due to him managing his week as he recovers from a recent calf injury.

Daizen Maeda was nowhere to be seen during the entire training session, although Luis Palma and Reo Hatate participated.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, who plays with Liam Scales at the centre of the Hoops defence, will want to continue building up his first-team minutes.
