Green Brigade plans another Celtic Glasgow Green takeover before the Scottish Cup Final.
The Hoops ultras are planning another pre-match gathering in the city centre.
Thousands of Celtic fans will gather on Glasgow Green ahead of next month’s Scottish Cup Final at Hampden.
The Hoops qualified for the May 25 showpiece final after a dramatic stalemate with Aberdeen yesterday. The Dons scored two last-ditch equalizers to send the game to extra time and then penalties following a thrilling six-goal contest. However, the holders won the high-quality shootout thanks to Joe Hart, and they will meet either Hearts or Rangers in the final next month.
And 34 days before the match, Celtic fans are already planning a pre-game party in the city centre. Last year, the Green Brigade and Bhoys organizations led a fan corteo from Glasgow Green to the national stadium before their Treble-winning match against Inverness Caley Thistle.
Thousands of supporters gathered at Saltmarket for a ‘Tims in the Park’ rally before marching to the national stadium two hours before kickoff. And now, the North Curve Celtic collective has teased a second pre-match celebration on social media, tweeting a graphic titled “Tims in the Park 2. “Coming soon.”

It promises to be a powderkeg week, with the Scottish Premiership season wrapping up just seven days before. Celtic and Rangers fans have historically swarmed on the city centre on title day, drinking till the early hours and setting off flares and pyrotechnics, causing street closures around Glasgow. And Police Scotland will most certainly have to prepare for another massive crowd when the league trophy is handed out on May 18.
