Former Browns RB retires from NFL
Cleveland, Ohio (WOIO) – Duke Johnson, a former Cleveland Browns running back, took to Instagram on Sunday to announce his retirement from the NFL.
After becoming Miami’s all-time leading rusher, the Browns drafted Johnson in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft
Johnson spent four years with Cleveland, accumulating 1,286 rushing yards and 2,170 receiving yards. Throughout his Browns career, he scored 13 touchdowns.
Johnson would subsequently spend two years alongside Deshaun Watson, Cleveland’s current starting QB, as a member of the Houston Texans. He also had one-year stints with the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.
