Report: £35k-a-week Everton player now ‘pushing’ to leave this summer, Dyche already has replacement lined up

Everton’s summer will probably not be enjoyable, but given their circumstances, something has to be done.

After years of financial mismanagement that drove them to the ground, people like Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell now have the difficult task of catching up.
And regrettably, that calls for significant sacrifices.

Alex Iwobi and Anthony Gordon were also forced to be sold, in addition to Richarlison.

Now, this summer could see Jarrad Branthwaite put to death.

Jarrad Branthwaite is expected to depart Everton this summer.

According to a recent report that Football Transfers has examined, Branthwaite’s future is once again in doubt.

But they add a twist to the tale by implying that the young player, who earns £35,000 a week, is now actively looking for a summer transfer, which makes the Toffees rethink their options.

And that has given them a new target to prey on as they attempt to take advantage of a team that may very well be leaving the Premier League this season.

Journalist Steve Kay reports: “FootballTransfers understands that Everton has teamed up with Crystal Palace to closely monitor the developments surrounding Luton Town’s Tenden Mengi ahead of the summer transfer window.”

Jarred Branthwaite, a 22-year-old centre back, has become a top target for the Toffees as they look to replace some of their defenders. As was exclusively revealed in March, both Manchester United and Newcastle are interested in signing him.

After all, according to Sofascore, Everton’s 21-year-old sensation has excelled at the back, recording an 80% pass accuracy and 39% success rate with long balls, in addition to 1.8 tackles and 4.5 clearances per game.

The centre back for Luton Town actually ranks fairly similarly overall, managing 1.8 tackles, 4.7 clearances, and 79% pass accuracy with 40% accuracy on long balls per game.

Even though it wouldn’t be the most popular swap, there seems to be a method to this proposed insanity.
