Now, Nottingham Forest could take £40 million. White-Morgan Gibbs bid
Football Insider has been informed by sources that Nottingham Forest will set a price tag of £40 million for Morgan Gibbs-White prior to the summer transfer window.
Senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke stated on the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast that Forest will consider £40 million to be a “reasonable” price for the 24-year-old.
Forest is expected to hold sales this summer to raise money in order to prevent a future breach as they are about to exceed their allowable losses under the Profit and Sustainability Rules.
They lost four points in the 2023–24 season for breaking the financial regulations by £34.5 million in the 2022–2023 fiscal year.
Spurs are showing a lot of interest in Gibbs-White, as Football Insider reported, and they have had talks about a transfer.
Morgan Gibbs-White has a £40 million price tag set by Nottingham Forest.
This season, the English midfielder has been a standout player for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team, contributing six goals and ten assists in all competitions.
“I think Forest will be looking at £40 million-plus for Morgan Gibbs-White,” O’Rourke stated in an interview with the Inside Track podcast. At Nottingham Forest, they have both had successful seasons and improved their reputations. “So, I think in the going market you’re looking at £40million-plus as a reasonable fee for Gibbs-White,” the player said.
