The Loan Struggles of Alexandro Bernabei Persist
Alexandro Bernabei’s loan stay at Internacional from Celtic has not gone as planned, following a difficult period at Parkhead.
Bernabei has battled to establish himself since his £4.5 million transfer under former boss Ange Postecoglou, a predicament that has persisted since joining the Brazilian club earlier this year.

This was his last appearance on April 11, and although regularly making the matchday squad, he has been an unused replacement in nine following games, including Sunday’s game, which he watched from the sidelines once more.
He actually was named Man of the Match on his debut.
The 23-year-old’s problems began early in his loan period, with a first blunder in which he missed his flight to Brazil. Since then, his chances to shine have been limited, raising doubt on his future significance at Internacional.
Back at Celtic, the Scottish champions had little choices at left-back, relying heavily on Greg Taylor. Bernabei’s problems in earning playing time and creating an impact raise concerns regarding his next moves after his loan period ends.
