Nottingham Forest closing in on ninth summer signing, Nottingham Forest assures Nketiah he will be their first choice striker

Eddie Nketiah is serious about joining Nottingham Forest this summer, and the club has promised him a lot of playing time to make the transfer possible.

In talks to sign the England star, the club and Arsenal are moving forward. But it’s also imperative to come to a deal with the striker directly.
Nketiah is reluctant to leave a premier team like Arsenal just to be a bench warmer at Forest because he craves consistent playing time.

He initially accepted an offer from Olympique Marseille earlier in the summer because he is now ready to move on from the Emirates and start a new chapter in his career.

Nketiah is willing to consider Forest as well, and according to a report from Football Insider, the team has assured him that if he plays for them at the City Ground, he will be their first-choice striker.

Only Arsenal’s viewpoint

Before leaving Arsenal, Nketiah will want to be sure he will play, especially if he is joining a smaller team. Forest is aware of this, so we anticipate that they will grant his request to obtain guarantees prior to him joining them.
But there’s not much time left, so he and the club need to come to an agreement quickly, and Forest needs to put up an offer that we think is good.
