Young Celts lose out in matchday two against Borussia
On the second matchday of the UEFA Youth League, Celtic FC B was defeated by Borussia Dortmund, 4-0.
After falling behind in the first half, the young Hoops were defeated by three more goals in the second half against the formidable German Academy team.
In an attempt to continue their flawless start to the UEFA Youth League, the Bhoys traveled to Dortmund for the competition’s second matchday.
Stephen McManus’ team traveled for their first away European match of the season, and they nearly had the ideal start right from the first kickoff.
Attacking first, a move that was worked down the left-hand side found Thomas Hatton, who attempted to throw a cross, but it was cleared for a corner.
