What Peter Schmeichel brutally told Karim Adeyemi after he scored a hat-trick against Kasper and Celtic
It wouldn’t have been simple for the former Manchester United goalkeeper to conduct interviews with players, especially Adeyemi, who was Dortmund’s man of the match, after the game.
The 22-year-old was first speaking with the CBS studios directly, but they were having problems with sound, so Schmeichel senior had to intervene.
As Peter took the mic, he looked at the Dortmund start and told him ‘I will never forgive you for what you did to my boy today’, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (01/10/24 at 10:10 am).
Kasper wasn’t at fault for either of the goals, but if Peter is being completely honest with himself, you get the impression that the new number one for Celtic will be furious at himself for giving up the penalty and realizing that he should have stopped the third.
However, Kasper did prevent the Bhoys from suffering more humiliation because the opponents had 13 shots that were on goal.
