Police officers knelt on Celtic football club fan during UEFA Champions League match
A fan of the Scottish Celtic football club was attacked by German police and forced to the ground for flying a Palestinian flag.
At Signal Iduna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund, during Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match versus Celtic, three of the five police officers present knelt down on the football fan for a number of minutes.
Following an attack by the Palestinian organization Hamas on October 7, Israel has persisted in its ruthless offensive on the Gaza Strip in defiance of a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.
According to local health authorities, since then, over 41,600 people—mostly women and children—have died and over 96,600 more have been injured.
Since September 23, Israel has also carried out many airstrikes against targets it claims are Hezbollah.across Lebanon that have killed 1,928 people and injured nearly 9,300, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
