Jamie Carragher questions whether a top club would even want £15m Nottingham Forest star
Jamie Carragher unsure on whether a top club would want Murillo
Ian Wright will have something to say about Carragher’s opinion, as he’s been very vocal with his praise for Murillo this season, stating he’s his favourite player to watch.
He’s been a brute force at the heart of the defence and has the pace to deal with even the nippiest of attackers, so it’s no surprise he’s attracting attention.
But, Jamie Carragher wasn’t so sure when talking about him on Sky Sports‘ Monday Night Football.
It is not surprising that he is receiving attention because he has been a formidable force at the center of the defense and possesses the speed to take down even the most determined attackers.
The former defender for Liverpool said.
The reason for this is that Murillo’s size can occasionally draw attention to himself. Would you invite him in if you were a premier club?
Before saying this, he had praised him.
“The Forest supporters adore Murillo ever since he joined because he is not only a fantastic defender but also has a fantastic left foot and can shoot from a distance.”
