Rangers F.C
TV channel, kickoff time, Gers team news, referee, and VAR for Motherwell vs. Rangers
This weekend, Rangers and Philippe Clement face Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals, and it feels like do or die for both.
For the Light Blues, failure to advance and defend the title they won last December could mean another trophy-less season by the end of May.
And from Clement’s perspective, it will be difficult to find a Rangers fan who does not want him fired if Motherwell triumph in Mount Florida.
On the other hand, a win would advance Rangers to the final against either Celtic or Aberdeen, which would do a little to lift spirits around the club.
Here is everything you need to know about the Motherwell Cup tie, including how to watch on TV, the latest team news, an injury update, and the appointed officials.
Motherwell vs Rangers kick-off time
Rangers return to Hampden Park to face Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals on Sunday, November 3. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. GMT.
Motherwell vs Rangers television channel
Motherwell vs Rangers will be broadcast live on television. You can watch the game on Premier Sports 1. Their coverage will begin at 2:30pm GMT, a half-hour before kickoff.
Rangers fans living outside the UK and Ireland can watch the Motherwell match on RangersTV if they have an international subscription.
If you’re out and about, you can listen to live BBC Sportsound radio commentary on the game. The programme begins at 2 p.m. GMT.
Rangers team and injury news
Unlike a typical Philippe Clement pre-match press conference, the underfire manager provided no significant injury updates.
Rangers fans can assume there are no new injury concerns following the midweek defeat to Aberdeen. Ridvan Yilmaz, Rabbi Matondo, Danilo, Vaclav Cerny, and Oscar Cortes all missed the Pittodrie match.
Referee and VAR
The SFA has confirmed the officials for the match between Motherwell and Rangers. Nick Walsh will serve as the on-field referee, with assistance from Graeme Stewart and Ross Macleod.
Alan Muir will be the VAR, and Andrew McWilliam has been confirmed as the AVAR.
