The Englishman was a positive, refreshing addition to TNT Sports’ broadcast against Atalanta last month and received the call last night.

Hart was once again astute in his analysis; the fact that he only played with the majority of the Celtic players last season aids and allows him to provide unique insight into issues that regular pundits cannot.

Yesterday evening, however, after the Bhoys took the lead against RB Leipzig, the former goalkeeper spoke for all Celtic fans.

Indeed, Daizen Maeda had a clean shot at the ball before Nicolas Kuhn swept in at the back post to give the Hoops the lead.

Hart responded in a hilarious way that all Celtic fans would agree with: “Maeda can claim [that was a dummy], but we all know it was a shot,” he said(TNT Sports).

Celtic fans didn’t care who scored; they just wanted their team to take the lead at the right time.

Indeed, the Bhoys led 2-1 at the break, prompting raucous cheers from the Parkhead faithful.

They dominated the second half, denying Leipzig any chance of regaining the lead and reestablishing their dominance with a third goal from Reo Hatate.

Celtic’s Champions League position could not be better, with seven points from their first four league phase matches.
