With the January transfer window just around the corner, we decided to have a look at the top 10 highest-paid players at the City Ground.

The statistics for this come courtesy of Capology who advise that they are purely estimated figures.

10. Ola Aina, who makes £40,000 a week
This could soon change, as Forest is eager to sign Aina to a new deal before the January transfer market officially opens.

9. Neco Williams, who earns £50,000 every week
Williams has only recently begun to reintegrate with the club, and throughout the 2024–2025 season, he has not let anyone down.

8. Taiwo Awoniyi, who makes £50,000 every week
Although it seems like a bit of a waste of money right now, it’s safe to say that he has done more than enough to assist Forest maintain their Premier League standing since signing in 2022.

7. Ryan Yates, who earns £50,000 every week
signed a new contract recently, giving the captain what he deserves for being a key member of the Forest midfield.

6. Ibrahim Sangare, who makes £75,000 every week
Another player who hasn’t yet provided a convincing argument for this salary or his transfer cost. However, there is still time, and he needs some luck with his injuries.

5. Chris Wood, who makes £80,000 a week
Wood is also being considered for a new contract, and if he is able to secure the two-year agreement he so desperately wants, his pay might skyrocket.
4. Morgan Gibbs-White, who makes £80,000 every week.
Gibbs-White is another player who merits this salary, and if Forest can continue to perform well, they might soon receive it as well.

3. Callum Hudson-Odoi, who makes £80,000 a week.
was always going to be on a substantial budget, considering that Forest was able to recruit Hudson-Odoi for an incredible £3 million.

2. Nikola Milenkovic, who makes £105,000 every week.
Worth his weight in gold. Robbie Earle has praised Milenkovic, who has greatly improved Forest in both areas.

1.James Ward-Prowse, who makes £115,000 a week
The top spot on this list is a little off because it’s unlikely that Forest would cover Ward-Prowse’s whole salary while he’s on loan from West Ham.
