Speaking on the latest episode of Football Insider’s Insider Track Podcast, Scottish correspondent Daniel Bowers revealed that the Canaries plan to cash in on the forward following his impressive move to Celtic Park.

According to Football Insider, Celtic regard Idah’s transfer as a “disaster” because they do not have the option to buy.

He joined the Glasgow giants on a six-month loan in the January transfer window and has proven to be a valuable resource to the Hoops in recent weeks.

In seven appearances for the club in all competitions, he has five goals and one assist, including match-winning braces against Hibernian and Motherwell in February.

In light of his prolific start in Glasgow, Norwich will sanction a permanent departure after he failed to make an impact at Carrow Road.

Last month (29 February), according to Football Insider, the Glasgow giants will have to pay a large fee for the 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international to make his summer move permanent.

However, Football Insider (27 February) stated that Idah is considering a permanent move to the club during the summer transfer window.

Celtic remain second in the league after a 2-0 loss to Hearts on Sunday (3 March), but they are only two points behind arch-rivals Rangers.

They will face Livingston in the Scottish Cup quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon (10 March).
