The incident occurred during Celtic’s 2-0 victory at Rugby Park, when Idah received a heavy elbow to the face, causing a nosebleed and necessitating extensive on-field treatment. Though Idah finished the game until he was replaced by Kyogo Furuhashi, the injury appeared severe enough to make him reconsider playing through the pain in Ireland’s upcoming games.
