Adam Idah’s Instagram post leaves Celtic fans puzzled
Adam Idah sparked some excitement on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, but it appears to be short-lived.
The Norwich star, who helped Celtic win the League and Cup double last season during his six-month loan, posted a photo looking out of a plane window. This prompted Celtic fans to search flight radar apps, speculating on his possible destination.
Even before his Instagram photo, news of a private plane flying from Norwich to Glasgow today piqued people’s interest.
However, there is no concrete evidence that Adam was hinting at something significant. The Norwich squad will also depart for a pre-season tour of Belgium today.
Idah was most likely on a flight with his Norwich teammates, preparing for the upcoming season with the English club, until he was informed otherwise. Celtic fans are well-known for their diligence in tracking such events, and social media has made it easier than ever to discover information that would have remained unknown in earlier times.
His most recent post appears to be a bit of mischief-making. Celtic flew out to the United States on Tuesday afternoon, and Adam was not on the flight with the Hoops. Celtic fans are hoping that the big man will become a permanent member of the Celtic squad at the start of next season, but that remains to be seen.
