Agent Of Southampton Star Opens Up On Client’s Desire To Exit The Club
Southampton have been informed that one of their loan players does not want to return to England and is awaiting the completion of his transfer from Saints.
Russell Martin’s side has returned to the top flight and must now decide on the futures of several players.
Striker Paul Onuachu, who was on loan at Trabzonspor last season, is one of the players looking for a decision on his future, and his agent knows exactly what he wants.
Trabzonspor has been working on a deal to get him back and has even made an offer to Southampton to complete the transfer.
Trabzonspor is finding it tough to reach an agreement with Saints, but Onuachu is holding out hope.
His agent is clear that Onuachu does not want to return to England and prefers to stay in Turkey with Trabzonspor.
The final decision will have to be made by the two concerned teams as they determine the nature of the deal.
“We will meet and talk with Paul soon”, Onuachu’s agent told Turkish outlet Sports Digitale.
“He wants Trabzonspor. He loves Turkey. He does not want to go to England.
“We are waiting for Southampton because they [Trabzonspor] have to agree move with Southampton over a possible loan or a permanent deal.”
Besiktas and Saints’ Turkish sister club, Goztepe, have both been mentioned as potential options for the striker in Turkey.
