Celtic have had a season of highs and lows this season, and they still have a domestic double to contend for under Brendan Rodgers.
Despite a few blips throughout the season, the Bhoys are now on a run of eight wins in their last nine games and have begun to find their rhythm, at least in terms of results.
Rodgers led his team to a 2-0 Scottish Cup quarter-final victory over St Mirren last weekend, with Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda scoring in either half to set up a next-round tie with Livingston.

Outside noise has become a common theme in recent months as the Hoops’ overall level of performance has not always met expectations; however, there is hope that we can now plan ahead for the remainder of the term.
Speaking after the game, Irish manager Rodgers denied that there is a crisis at Parkhead, saying: “I don’t think it’s a crisis.” It’s obvious that the narrative was created outside. To be honest, I expect nothing less. We only focus on ourselves. We’re a winning club.”

Joe Hart, a former England international, is regarded as one of the most experienced players in Celtic’s dressing room, and his knowledge has translated onto the pitch in recent weeks.
The 36-year-old has made several key saves for the Bhoys during crucial moments in matches. He once again delivered for his team last weekend, commanding his box with authority and keeping his 13th clean sheet of the season [Transfermarkt].
When discussing the experienced custodian, Rodgers stated that Hart has become a’real catalyst’ for his team as a result of his work both on and off the pitch.

He said [Daily Record]: “Joe doesn’t have much to do, but when he does, he makes great saves. He’s a real catalyst for the team, and he and Cal lead the dressing room.

“He makes such impressive saves. The other day, there were a lot of crosses and balls in the box. But he was extremely clean. Keepers are always expected to catch, but if they are unable to do so, there is a significant distance to cover. He excelled at this multiple times. It was another clean slate for him, which was important. Joe is a very experienced player. But we control the team’s voice inside the locker room.”

The Hoops will face more pressure situations this season as they strive for domestic success. Hart will be relied on between the sticks to make game-winning saves along the way.
The Shrewsbury native has won his fair share of silverware in his career, and he hopes to play an important role as Celtic look to complete a double under Rodgers.
