‘Amazing’: Nottingham Forest star says he loves being at the club amid exit rumours
Ramon Sosa praises his time so far at Nottingham Forest
In an interview with the Nottingham Forest website, Sosa made it clear that he had long hoped for a move to the Premier League.
Sosa said: “I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League but because of how my career developed, I wondered if it would be impossible. I was in love with the Premier League. I would finish training and put on the Premier League games.”
Forest competed with Everton for Sosa while the Paraguayan’s transfer was up for grabs, a tenacity that Sosa obviously valued.
“It was incredible to learn that Nottingham Forest wanted me,” he remarked. My club wouldn’t allow me go, so I had to wait almost two months before I could come here. It was incredible when I arrived here with my agency and girlfriend.
“My dream, which I believed was unattainable, came true, and my girlfriend and I spent the majority of the night crying while we were staying at the hotel.”
His dream may be more fruitful for Sosa in terms of game time after his fellow winger, Jota Silva, struggled in Forest’s 5-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
