Anthony Elanga names the two Nottingham Forest players he’s closest to
Anthony Elanga says he has an amazing friendship with two Nottingham Forest players.
Anthony Elanga is now regarded as one of the City Ground’s star players after making the £15 million transfer from Manchester United last summer. He has adapted to life at the stadium well.
Newcastle United expressed interest in the 22-year-old earlier in the transfer window. The player scored five goals and provided nine assists in the previous campaign.
In the end, he has continued to play for Nottingham Forest, and he recently expressed in an interview how content he is in the East Midlands after developing close friendships with two specific players.
Anthony Elanga is very close friends with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs-White.
Elanga recently told the BBC in an interview that he is very close friends with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs-White.
We seem to have a really strong bond off the pitch as well. We just get along so well that we talk to each other all the time. Being able to play with those players is an amazing feeling, the Sweden international remarked.
“Callum is loud; I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if I said that, and he would probably agree. Morgan strikes a good balance between being loud and laid back.
But these guys are incredible; I have nothing but praise for them. They’re simply amazing, and I love spending time with them both on and off the pitch. I love playing with them.
Anthony Elanga must persevere.
Following a successful debut campaign at the City Ground, Elanga must now increase his production and aim for a double-digit goal total.
The former United player has the skill set; he just needs to occasionally improve his decision-making and gain some poise.
