Arne Slot has just brought up Nottingham Forest again to end 2024
Liverpool manager Arne Slot gives Nottingham Forest a special mention to end 2024.
Nottingham Forest is mentioned once more by Arne Slot.
Since the defeat at Anfield, Arne Slot has made it a practice to bring up Nottingham Forest.
Earlier this season, when the Reds played Brighton & Hove Albion, the manager of Liverpool used the word “forest” in a team talk.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Liverpool’s emphatic 5-0 win over West Ham United on Sunday, Slot was visibly frustrated about picking up the only loss of the season against Forest.
“My 2024? Only one loss, and that was Nottingham Forest.”
Arne Slot’s somewhat critical remark on Nottingham Forest
Arne Slot made a mildly offensive remark earlier in the season, which nearly embarrassed him when he lost to Forest.
“Losing Saturday was a blow and to be 1-0 down early tonight, you are wondering how we react.
“But if you can play so good it is – I won’t say a disgrace – unbelievable you lose to Forest at home if you can play like this today.”
