Brendan Rodgers is aware that in addition to getting ready for the last six games of the season, he also needs to consider fortifying Celtic during the summer.

After earning a spot in the Scottish Cup Final with Saturday’s victory over Aberdeen at Hampden, the Celtic manager can now look forward to that match.
But as everyone knows, the victory wasn’t as simple as the Celtic manager would have liked; extra time and penalties were needed to ultimately defeat Peter Leven’s team.

Speaking after the game, Rodgers expressed his satisfaction with the victory and expressed gratitude to Celtics teammate Bojan Miovski, but he also saved some special praise for the team’s captain.

Rodgers is a big fan of Miovski.

Despite Aberdeen’s difficulties in the Scottish Premiership, Miovski, who has been called a “really talented” player, has been on fire for the team.

Additionally, Rodgers commended the forward for the issues he caused Celtic on Saturday, even though he had been linked to him earlier in the season.

In addition, Rodgers claimed his team gave the Aberdeen striker too much room in the first forty-five minutes of the game when speaking with Charlie Mulgrew about how he instructed his players to handle the player.

“We weren’t tight enough in our positioning and as I said, they were quite bright in midfield and combined really well to get through,” Aaron Rodgers told [BBC].Their striker is an excellent player. Yes, there was simply too much room.

“You have to give them credit for that because we were on the attack before we even had the ball in our possession and they scored a very good goal.”

The Aberdeen striker’s eye for goal is undeniable, despite the ongoing debate among Celtic supporters about whether or not Miovski is good enough for the team.

Furthermore, given that Celtic create plenty of opportunities in each game they play, just think of the harm he could potentially cause in the green and white hoops if given the chance.
