Brendan Rodgers’ Classy Celtic Academy Gesture During International Break

Published

on

Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Celtic, is fresh off orchestrating a 3-0 thumping of Rangers on Sunday.

In a match they have dominated recently, goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Callum McGregor propelled the Bhoys to victory.
Rodgers’ team dominated their opponents in every area, making the three points more than worthwhile.

The champions, who currently seem to be in a class by themselves in Scottish football, put on a terrific display.

The manager is mostly to blame for their success both this season and last.

Rodgers is a skilled tactician who has a deft grasp of handling the media.

He is also a top drawer personally, and his recent visit to Celtic’s academy was even more evidence of this.

In fact, the Irishman generously gave up his time during the international break to chat with a number of the coaches and young players for the Hoops:

The manager made a classy gesture, and it’s good to see him trying his hardest to support the kids and their coaches.

Given that Rodgers is renowned for fostering the growth of young players, it’s possible that some of the individuals he spoke with will go on to play key roles for Celtics in the future.
