According to Japanese outlet Gekisaka, Hatate tore his calf and could be missing for up to eight weeks as a result of the injury.

According to the report, the midfielder will remain with his national team during his initial recovery before returning to Glasgow.

Japan manager Moriyasu spoke about the injury after the game but didn’t reveal much. He said, “I’d like to hear the doctor’s diagnosis.

“However, it hurts both the players and the team when someone is injured, but regardless of who is injured, we need to keep the game going and win.” I think today’s match boosted my confidence.”

in other news, Brendan Rodgers is silent about Celtic’s Idah deal.
