Celtic’s first six 2024/25 Premiership fixtures versus Rangers

Celtic now know how their Scottish Premiership defence will begin, with league fixtures for the 2024/25 season confirmed.

Celtic face transfer competition from Leeds for promising striker

The Hoops return to Premiership action in August, hoping for a better start than last season.

Despite defeating Ross County on the first day, Celtic conceded twice at home to the Staggies, and after a win over Aberdeen, they drew at home with St Johnstone.

Seven points from nine may not appear to be too bad, but Celtic fans will remember the manner in which they performed.

Fortunately, Rangers were in a far more precarious position under Michael Beale, and by October, the Bhoys were well ahead in the title race.

Opening up a significant lead at the top even earlier in the 2024/25 season would be ideal this time around – and possibly a realistic proposition.

Rangers are once again in turmoil as a result of stadium restoration delays, which will force them to play their opening Premiership games away from Ibrox.

So, can Celtic capitalise on their embarrassing situation over the first six league games? Faxsoccer has them listed below, and we also look at Rangers’ opening fixtures.
