Celtic’s Intriguing Mikey Johnston Social Media Activity
Since joining West Brom on a six-month loan from Celtic, Mikey Johnston has been on a roll.
In 15 league games for the Baggies, the wide player has seven goals and one assist. He was named Championship Player of the Month for his efforts in March.
Many have been caught off guard by his success south of the border, and Brendan Rodgers gave the attacker a lifeline last week when he hinted that he might get another chance at Celtic when he returns to Glasgow this summer.
A lot of people would be interested in such an event, similar to the club’s current social media activity on Johnston.
While Celtic wished the Irishman a happy 25th birthday on their official Instagram page, it appears that they did do the same for Joe Hart on X.
It is hard to understand why the club would post on one social media platform but not the other. The only explanation for Johnston’s well wishes not being posted on X is the possible criticism of him in the comments.
