Celtic US tour dates are now confirmed.
According to the official Celtic website, the Bhoys will face Pep Guardiola’s reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on July 23rd.
During Rodgers’ first tenure, both teams had only met twice in competitive play, with both games ending in Champions League group stage draws.
Before that, the Hoops will face DC United in the first game of the tour on July 20th at Audi Field in Washington, pitting them against one of Major League Soccer’s most successful clubs.
Tickets for the Manchester City match go on sale on Wednesday, March 27th; however, there will be a pre-sale window beginning March 25.
Similarly, season ticket holders and fans with priority pre-sale access can purchase DC United briefs beginning March 25th, with the general public receiving tickets two days later.
Celtic have an exciting summer ahead of them, and Faxsoccer will be on hand to keep fans up to date on any future announcements regarding the friendly matches.
