City Ground hosts huge gender-reveal party for star footballer Murillo
One of Nottingham Forest’s top players, who claims he is “eagerly waiting” for the birth of his child, had a gender-reveal party at the City Ground. Over the weekend, Murillo organized the gathering with friends and family, standing on a platform decorated with baby-themed decorations and white balloons.
Then, confetti and pink smoke poured onto the platform, announcing that Murillo and his wife, Mabili Coladello, were expecting a girl as their first child. On Monday, December 23, the center-back said on Instagram: “We are eagerly waiting for your arrival, my princess.”
The 22-year-old initially agreed to a five-year contract with the Reds in August 2023. The Brazilian was awarded Forest’s 2023–2024 player of the season after making numerous appearances in games.
Murillo and his wife were both dressed completely in white for their gender reveal party, with the pair seen walking onto the City Ground pitch through the players’ tunnel at the start of the event. The footballer was then pictured kissing his wife’s baby bump as the event moved inside the stadium.
Among those attending the event was Forest teammate Jota Silva. The party caps of a year of success for Murillo, who received his first call-up to the Brazilian national team during November’s international break.
