One of college baseball’s fiercest rivalries is set to take center stage as No. 13 Clemson and undefeated South Carolina square off in a three-game weekend series.

With both teams off to strong starts in 2025, this year’s Palmetto Series promises to be another thrilling installment in the historic rivalry.

Series Schedule & How to Watch

The three-game series will take place across three different venues over three days:

  • Game 1 – Friday, 7 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Clemson (ACC Network Extra)
  • Game 2 – Saturday, 1:30 p.m. at Fluor Field, Greenville (SEC Network Plus)
  • Game 3 – Sunday, 5 p.m. at Founders Park, Columbia (SEC Network Plus)

Fans can stream all three games on the ESPN app with a cable or streaming package that includes ACC Network and SEC Network. Standalone ESPN+ subscriptions will not provide access.

While Clemson has historically dominated the rivalry with a 188-145-2 all-time record, the teams have split their last four series matchups. Last season, Clemson took a 2-0 series victory after the third game was canceled due to weather.

Projected Pitching Matchups

South Carolina has set its rotation, while Clemson will finalize its starters on Thursday:

  • Game 1: LHP Matthew Becker (USC) vs. TBD
  • Game 2: LHP Jake McCoy (USC) vs. TBD
  • Game 3: RHP Dylan Eskew (USC) vs. TBD

Weather Forecast

Baseball fans are in for a perfect weekend, as clear skies and comfortable temperatures are expected for all three games. Saturday’s neutral-site game in Greenville is projected to be especially pleasant, with a high of 72 degrees.

Breaking Down the Neutral-Site Game

Saturday’s game at Fluor Field in Greenville will serve as the series’ neutral-site contest. However, South Carolina will be the designated home team, occupying the first-base dugout and batting second. Clemson, as the designated road team, will use the third-base dugout and bat first.
