The FA has confirmed that Manchester United’s FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City will be held at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, April 21, with kickoff at 3.30pm.

United advanced to the competition’s final four with a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory over Liverpool last weekend, looking to improve on last season’s runners-up finish.

Coventry, managed by United hero Mark Robins, advanced to the final four for the first time since winning the famous competition in 1987, and only the second time in the club’s history, after coming from behind to defeat Wolves last weekend.

The Metropolitan Police deemed United’s semi-final clash with Coventry a ‘high-risk’ fixture, forcing the FA to change the kick-off time, according to reports on Friday. The FA had originally requested that the match take place at 4pm on Sunday afternoon, but the kick-off time has now been moved up by 30 minutes to 3:30pm.
