Dermot Desmond, Celtic’s majority shareholder, makes an unusual social media appearance.
Dermot Desmond, Celtic’s majority shareholder, made an unexpected appearance on Instagram this weekend, posing with DJ Khaled on a golf course in Barbados.
The Irish Billionaire enjoys golf and has travelled the world to play on some of the world’s most impressive golf courses.
The pair appear to be conversing and even golfing together, and the image has been shared with the DJ’s 38 million Instagram followers.
DJ Khaled is a multifaceted icon known for his roles as a DJ, record producer, and larger-than-life personality. His name is synonymous with the glitz of the music world. From passionate radio host to national sensation, he has carved out a niche for himself with his energetic presence and catchy anthems. His signature catchphrases and boundless energy have made him a popular figure not only in hip-hop, but throughout the entertainment industry.
Celtic fans have already shared the image on social media, with some concerned about seeing our majority shareholder on a sunny golf course when the January transfer window has so much riding on it. We understand DD communicates with Michael Nicholson and Brendan Rodgers throughout the season, but he has always delegated day-to-day responsibilities to those he has appointed.
Perhaps he’s signed DJ Khaled to the Paradise Windfall.
