A loan move looks most for the Blues.

According to a new transfer update, Everton are considering a loan move for a “fabulous” player Sean Dyche knows well from the past.
Everton’s January schedule
In recent weeks, the Blues have found form at an ideal time in the Premier League, winning four games in a row without conceding a goal. However, some reinforcements in the January transfer window could be ideal to ensure they continue to pull away from the relegation zone.

A number of players have been linked with moves to Goodison Park recently, with former Sheffield United attacker Iliman Ndiaye being one of them. He may have only joined Marseille earlier this year, but they don’t appear to have ruled out a move for him.

In other news, the Merseysiders are considering making Jack Harrison’s loan move from Leeds United permanent, with the midfielder enjoying an increasingly impressive season.

Speaking of loanees, Everton appear to be considering bringing in another player for the remainder of the season – one whose game Dyche is intimately familiar with.

Everton are interested in signing Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill on loan during the January transfer window, according to Football Transfers.

“Everton will have to look to the loan market to bring in fresh faces in the winter window,” it said.

“Dyche remains a fan of Burnley’s Brownhill, with the central midfielder position being a priority.” The 28-year-old’s contract expires in 2024, so he could leave as a free agent at the end of the season, or the Clarets could look to sell him.

Brownhill, who has 94 Premier League appearances, could be a great signing for Everton next month. He has a lot of experience at the top level and has proven himself in the past.

Lee Hendrie, a former Aston Villa midfielder, has previously praised the 28-year-old, calling him “fabulous” and praising his all-round game:

“I think Josh Brownhill is a fantastic player, I really do.” I’d take Josh Brownhill over [Sander] Berge any day just because he reminds me of John McGinn. He’s very energetic, he’s very neat and tidy on the ball, he gets up and down the pitch well, and you know what to expect when you get a player from Burnley, Sean Dyche.
