Branthwaite became an important player for Everton after returning from a loan at PSV Eindhoven last season, and his outstanding performances earned him a call-up to the England squad.
This season, he has made 40 starts in all competitions. In October 2023, he inked a new four-year contract at Goodison Park.

Onana, meanwhile, has made 36 appearances for Sean Dyche’s team this season across all competitions, starting 29 of those games.

Even though they were docked nine points this season, Everton is safe as they currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League.
