Getafe, a Spanish club, is apparently looking to conclude a deal to sign Valencia winger Declan Frith, who has been linked with several Championship clubs.
The 22-year-old, who played for Chelsea and Aston Villa at youth level, appeared 14 times for Valencia’s B squad during the 2023/24 season, which competed in Spain’s fourth division.
Sunderland, QPR, and Watford have all made ‘formal offers’ for Frith, as reported by Spanish publication Marca. However, Marca believes the star would like to stay in Spain, with his agents scheduled to travel to Madrid on Monday to try to finalize a deal with Getafe.
Frith joined Valencia from Aston Villa in September, having previously played for the latter’s under-21s in Premier League 2.
