Celtic F.C
Fabrizio Romano provides an update on Celtic’s expected departure.
Como are the latest club to express an interest in Rocco Vata, according to Fabrizio Romano.
It appears that the Serie B club can provide a more realistic prospect of first team football, whereas joining Bologna would almost certainly result in being loaned out.
The only certainty in the situation is that Vata will not be returning to Celtic next season, despite making four substitute appearances under Ange Postecoglou last season.

For whatever reason, it appears that there has been a near total breakdown in relations between Celtic and the player, who appeared unwilling to extend the three-year contract he signed shortly after turning 16.
Ben McPherson and Ben Summers signed new contracts and went on loan to Queens Park and Dunfermline respectively, leaving Vata to face a third season in the Lowland League.
Interest in Ireland’s under-21 internationalist appears to be primarily Italian, with no strong interest from England.
Celtic can strike a deal this month that includes a sell-on clause; if Vata leaves in the summer, UEFA will apply a formula fee based on the number of years he spent at the Celtic Academy.
