‘Fantastic’… fans hails £50m-rated Nottingham Forest star for display vs Wolves
What Stephen Warnock stated regarding Anthony Elanga Elanga was the target of a bid from Newcastle on the day of the deadline, but the Magpies were ultimately let down.
He was back in the Forest lineup yesterday, and he looked promising, especially in the first half.
Elanga was there to stop the custodian from making any kind of save in the build-up to
Wood’s goal.
During live BBC radio coverage, he was praised for this performance and gave the 22-year-old Forest speedster high praise.
On BBC 5 Live, he stated: “Anthony Elanga does well.” After stepping away from Sam Johnstone, he turns to face Elanga, who continues to wear his eyeliner, which surprises Johnstone.
Forest needs to maintain its stance on Elanga in light of Newcastle’s interest.
The Reds are allegedly worth £50 million for Elanga, and in the end, they have every right to believe that.
Because of his 14 goal contributions from the previous season, the player’s £15 million price tag appears to be very reasonable when considering Forest’s financial situation.
Now, as the football team advances, the Reds must continue to hold their players in such high regard.
Although Elanga hasn’t quite found his best form yet this season, as Warnock notes, he did contribute to the goal yesterday.
Elanga, who is 22 years old, still has more to give, and perhaps after the international break, he can resume his best play.
