Following his Celtic career, Scott Brown reveals one former Rangers player he wouldn’t mess with.

The former Hoops midfielder faced many opponents on the pitch, but he would never approach one man in particular.

When Scott Brown was a star player for Celtic against Rangers, he engaged in his fair share of ding-dong fights on the pitch.

The former midfield player had disagreements with players like Alfredo Morelos and El-Hadji Diouf, but he also had no trouble moving up to play alongside other players if necessary. The Ayr United manager, though, acknowledges that there is one man he would never dare challenge, either on the field of play or from the sidelines as the Championship’s boss.

Admitted Although Broony and Duncan Ferguson never met while they were players, the 38-year-old said to Ally McCoist on talkSPORT that he has no intention of confronting the Inverness CT manager off the pitch.

“By the way, I wouldn’t get in his road,” Brown remarked about Ferguson. “I’m not going to argue with that guy on the sidelines.” It seems to say, “Okay, big man.”

“Yeah – you’d be favourite against most, but you might be second favourite against him,” McCoist laughed back.
