“How Wolves Shocked Ligue 1 Giants With Bold Move Against Star Striker!”
Wolves have rejected a proposal from Marseille for striker Hee-chan Hwang, stating that he is not for sale, according to the Express & Star.
When fit last season, the South Korean striker was a regular starter for Wolves, scoring 12 goals in 29 Premier League outings.
He still has four years left on his contract at Molineux and has remained an important component of Gary O’Neil’s long-term plans.
Marseille has been watching Hwang and hopes to sign him away from Wolves this summer.
However, it has been alleged that Wolves definitively rejected Marseille’s approach for the striker.
The French giants offered £21 million for the attacker, but Wolves quickly rejected the offer.
Wolves are determined that they would not sell Hwang and are not interested in considering bids for him.
It remains to be seen whether Marseille will enhance their bid in the coming days to put further pressure on Wolves.
Marseille is in talks to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United and have just increased their offer to him.
