Jon McLaughlin and Borna Barisic updates regarding the Rangers transfer news

The Scottish Sun reports that Jon McLaughlin and Borna Barisic, two Rangers players, are unlikely to stick with the team past the summer.

On April 19, the newspaper said on its website that Philippe Clement has not been giving the two enough playing time this season.
Both Barisic and the veteran custodian, who has made two appearances for Scotland, have contracts that expire at the end of the current campaign.

Major summer rebuilding is ahead for Philippe Clement at Rangers.

Rangers are in a transitional phase, and Clement will face many challenges as many players approach the end of their contracts and McLaughlin, who was linked to leaving in the winter, looks likely to depart as well.

Players like John Lundstram, Leon Balogun and Barisic are out of contract this summer, and reports suggest Lundstram could be on his way to Ipswich Town or Trabzonspor.
Due to this impending departure, Clement will need to reorganise his team to better fit his goals.

The Belgian manager has already begun to imprint his style on the team, but he needs to move quickly during the transfer window because a number of players could be leaving.
His strategic judgement and leadership will be essential in creating a cohesive team that is capable of contending for the SPFL Premiership championship.

Barisic and McLaughlin don’t appear to improve the starting lineup, but Lundstram has been a consistent player for Clement, so the midfielder may be someone he wants to keep.
