Jimmy Thelin on the prospect of challenging Celtic
In an earlier statement today, Thelin stated that Aberdeen is making progress every week and declined to comment on whether the team may challenge Celtic this season.
He stated [Sky Sports]: “Way too early, we’ve played seven games. It’s the eighth game tomorrow and it’s October, until May, a lot of things can happen.
“Our perspective on things remains unchanged. This season will be played game by game, and we have a long-term project. We’ll work to improve ourselves and establish a distinct identity, training regimen, competitive style, and sense of teamwork.
“We are on a good track right now, but we still need to make a lot of improvements and maintain our humility, then we need to try and try again, and that’s where we are right now.”
