The Boston Celtics have one of the most stacked starting lineups in the NBA, if not the most stacked.

Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis are all legitimate All-Star candidates, with some even making the All-NBA team.

JJ Redick, on the other hand, believes that one of their guards should be given far more credit and recognition.

He recently took to Twitter to reiterate his support for Derrick White, whom he previously referred to as a top-100 player.

Now, he believes he is a top-50 player, and he could be correct.

Since joining the Celtics, White has had some epic scoring outbursts, and his shot-making ability has saved them numerous times over the last few years.

Furthermore, he is a tenacious defender who will not hesitate to put his body on the line, take charges and dive for every 50/50 or loose ball if necessary.

White has excelled in that area throughout his NHL career, which is why, despite not making the majority of headlines, he has become a fan favourite in Boston.

Even if the mainstream media continues to ignore low-profile players like him, it’s nice to know that some of his teammates recognise his game.

In other news, Jayson Tatum’s injury will keep him out of the game against the Kings for the first time this season.
