Joe Hart was caught on camera confronting Hearts fans who taunted him after Celtic conceded their first goal at Tynecastle.

Celtic’s 10-man squad suffered a 2-0 defeat in Gorgie, making for an emotional day. Adam Idah had missed a penalty before Yang was dismissed for a high boot. Tomoki Iwata was then penalised by VAR for handball in the visitors’ box, which Jorge Grant converted, with Hart appearing to call Lawrence Shankland a’s****bag’ for failing to take it.

However, another incident involving Hart has emerged, in which he gets into it with fans during the penalty celebrations. A short video posted by Footy Away Days on X shows Hart going over to get the ball, with one punter throwing it back in his face. Hart reacts and is separated from the fan by a steward before briefly turning to walk away.

However, when another ball is thrown in Hart’s direction, he turns back to confront more of the home fans, with security once again intervening. That’s when his teammate Cameron Carter-Vickers steps in and pulls Hart away, while the Hearts players celebrate in the background.
