Joe Hart praised his Celtic teammate Daizen Maeda for his outstanding performance and hat-trick in Celtic’s 4-2 Scottish Cup win over Livingston.

Celtic’s lead was challenged twice by the visitors during the game, but despite the pressure, the team was able to secure their place in the semi-finals.

Hart, who took on the captaincy role in the absence of Callum McGregor and Carter-Vickers due to injuries, demonstrated leadership by leading the team on Sunday.

With the Englishman set to retire at the end of the season, a win in the semi-finals could provide him with a memorable farewell in a cup final.

Celtic’s recent performance has been unpredictable, particularly with key players McGregor, Carter-Vickers, and the long-term absent Reo Hatate out, making it difficult to maintain consistency.
