Joe Hart responds to the Celtic atmosphere on saturday.
Celtic custodian Joe Hart is nearing the end of his playing career. The Hoops’ number one will retire at the end of this season, capping off a long and storied career.
Over the last few years in Glasgow, the Englishman has been nothing but dependable.
He provided much-needed consistency between the sticks at a period of transition, and his performances this season have reached new highs.
Suggestions that he is his team’s player of the year are not out of the question; the veteran has saved the Bhoys on multiple occasions in 2023/24.
In the latter stages of his career, the goaltender has stepped out and produced several critical saves. He will be sorely missed at Celtic once the season is over.
On Saturday, he once again demonstrated his importance with vital efforts that drew wild ovation.
At the weekend, every positive action by a Celtic player elicited a loud shout. The fans provided the players an extra boost, and Hart said that he and his teammates’really appreciate’ the Parkhead crowd.
He told the Glasgow Times, “We really appreciate them, and it was an amazing atmosphere to play in, but it can only be that if we perform and show we are putting everything on the line.”
“We were really united on Saturday, and I really enjoyed it.”
