Joe Hart’s Emotional Message to Celtic Fans After Special Night
A sit-down with Joe Hart was granted to Celtic fans on Sunday evening, in advance of his final six games as a professional football player.
His final professional football match will be on May 25 against Rangers before he takes a hiatus from the game.
Hart, who has gained a lot of affection at Celtic since his arrival, was honoured in a unique ceremony that honoured both teammates and supporters for his accomplishments both on and off the pitch. Visibly touched by the outpouring of support, the goalie posted a thank-you message on Instagram. Words can’t express what a night this was, jeez. We are grateful to everyone who attended and to @celticfc. “I have work to do right now, but I just wanted to say thank you,” Hart wrote.
Highlights from Hart’s career were shown throughout the evening, honouring his big saves and the times he won over supporters of the teams he has played for.
There’s little doubt that Celtic will find it extremely difficult to replace him this summer.
